Supporting the Randburg SPCA’s lifesaving mission

This Hot Cares Christmas, we are proud to support the Randburg SPCA, an organization that tirelessly works to protect and care for vulnerable animals in our community.

The festive season is often the busiest and most challenging time of year for the SPCA. Cases of abandonment, neglect, and abuse surge, placing immense strain on their resources. Recently, the Randburg SPCA took in 39 animals in a single day—11 adult dogs, 21 puppies, and 7 cats—many of whom were malnourished, dehydrated, and in dire need of medical care.

The team’s dedication is unwavering, as demonstrated by their Inspectors, Theo and Gift, who went undercover to rescue a suspected stolen dog. These heroic efforts, along with countless others, embody the organization’s commitment to saving animals who cannot speak for themselves.

This December, the SPCA has faced heartbreaking cases, including the rescue of a dog found beaten and left to die. Thanks to their care, this animal now has a chance at a better life. But the resources needed to provide food, medical supplies, and emergency care for these animals are immense.

Hot Cares is stepping in to support their incredible work with a contribution of R30,000, covering veterinary supplies and nutritional assistance. This funding will ensure the animals in their care receive the food, medical attention, and shelter they desperately need, giving them a second chance at life.

We are honored to support the Randburg SPCA, whose compassion and dedication inspire us all. This Christmas, we stand with them in their mission to create a more compassionate world for animals. Together, we are making a meaningful difference for those who need it most.
