A Lifeline for Slurpy: Help a Little Pug Puppy

A charming pug puppy named Slurpy, was recently surrendered and is in desperate need of life-saving care. Slurpy arrived at Blue Bush Animal Clinic severely underweight and showing signs of neurological distress. After thorough veterinary evaluations, she has been diagnosed with a portosystemic shunt, a serious condition that prevents her blood from being properly detoxified by her liver. 

Without specialized surgical intervention, Slurpy’s future looks bleak; her only alternative is euthanasia. The gravity of her situation has touched the hearts of everyone at Hot Cares, who are committed to ensuring she receives the care she desperately needs to live a healthy and happy life. 

Slurpy’s journey has been difficult. Surrendered by her family due to the financial and emotional strain of her health issues, she has fought valiantly to survive. Her resilience is truly inspiring, and she deserves a fighting chance to thrive in a loving home. 

Hot Cares has stepped in to cover the costs of Slurpy’s surgery and will also provide food and care at the Blue Bush Animal Clinic until she can find her forever family.
