Bringing comfort and care to Christy

At Hot Cares, we’re committed to making meaningful differences in the lives of those facing incredible challenges. This Christmas, we’re honored to support Christy, a dedicated wife, mother, and hairdresser, whose journey has been anything but easy.

Nine years ago, Christy’s life was forever changed by a cervical cancer diagnosis. Following treatment at a government hospital, she experienced severe complications due to over-radiation, which caused extensive damage to multiple organs. These complications have left her dependent on a colostomy bag and adult diapers, causing both physical and emotional strain.

Despite these challenges, Christy continues to show up for her clients, colleagues, and family with unwavering dedication and a warm smile.

Her ability to maintain her professionalism in an industry where presentation is crucial, all while dealing with ongoing pain and discomfort, is a testament to her strength.

This Christmas, Hot Cares is stepping in to ease Christy’s burdens. We will facilitate a consultation with a urologist to explore options for improved care and pain management. Additionally, we are covering the costs of a properly fitted colostomy bag and all associated consumables for the next 12 months.

Our goal is to provide Christy with greater comfort and dignity, allowing her to focus on her work, her family, and her own well-being. This support will also bring much-needed relief to her husband and child, ensuring they can enjoy more moments of connection and joy.
