Meet Manie Hendriks, a 51-year-old programmer at the Department of Justice, who has lived his entire life with only 5% functional eyesight. Despite this, Manie has achieved incredible success and selflessly serves as the primary caregiver for his 78-year-old mother. Manie’s daily life is filled with challenges—from navigating a complex commute to relying on cumbersome aids just to read or work.
