This Hot Cares Christmas, we are proud to support Malefu Letty Mosia, a resilient woman whose health and confidence have been deeply impacted by the loss of her teeth.
After months of seeking treatment at a government clinic, Malefu’s teeth were removed, leaving her unable to chew properly or enjoy a balanced diet. To make matters worse, she was told she would have to wait two years for dentures. This delay not only risks her physical health due to poor nutrition but also affects her emotional well-being and self-confidence.
Living without teeth creates significant challenges. Chewing becomes nearly impossible, forcing Malefu to rely on a limited diet that can lead to malnutrition and other health complications. Beyond the physical difficulties, the absence of teeth can erode self-esteem and hinder social interactions, making everyday life more isolating.
