Hot Cares and Silverstar Bring joy and hope to the girls of Abraham Kriel Bambanani Children’s Home

At Hot Cares, we are always inspired by the strength of our community and the power of kindness. Recently, we were touched by a request to help the girls at Abraham Kriel Bambanani Children’s Home in Langlaagte, Johannesburg. This home cares for 70 vulnerable girls, many of whom are orphans, providing them with a safe and supportive environment.

The older girls are about to celebrate a significant spiritual milestone—their Confirmation of Faith—and the younger girls will be there to support them. This is a deeply meaningful event for the entire community. Gerhard Louw Photography has graciously sponsored professional portraits of each girl, but we wanted to make this day even more special.

With the help of our partners at Silverstar, Hot Cares will provide beautiful framed photographs, small teddy bears, and party packs for each girl, helping them commemorate this important day in a way they will cherish forever. These thoughtful gestures will give the girls a tangible reminder of this milestone and the love and support they receive from their community.
