Honouring Tristan: A legacy of compassion for people and animals

At Hot Cares, our mission is to make a lasting difference, even in moments of deep loss. Recently, we learned of the tragic passing of Tristan Chase Randall, a young man with a profound sense of compassion for both people and animals. In his memory, his family is hosting a fundraising event on what would have been his 21st birthday, November 3rd, at Walkhaven Dog Park. This event aims to honour Tristan’s legacy by raising funds for rescue dogs in need, a cause close to his heart.

Tristan’s empathy extended to all living beings. As a psychology student, he was committed to helping people overcome life’s challenges. His love for animals was evident in his adoption of his rescue dog, Tank, and his support of The Dogs Trust. To continue his mission of kindness, Hot Cares is donating R21,000 to The Dogs Trust, ensuring that Tristan’s passion for animal welfare lives on.
