Hot Cares and SEESA empower future female leaders with life-changing bursary assistance

Hot Cares, in partnership with SEESA, is proud to continue empowering the next generation of female leaders. In August 2024, we launched an initiative aimed at supporting women struggling to complete their studies due to outstanding educational debt. Together with SEESA, we offered R100,000 in bursary assistance, helping to remove financial barriers for women on the path to achieving their dreams.

The response was overwhelming, with many deserving applicants sharing their inspiring stories. After a challenging selection process, four exceptional women were chosen: Liyema Dweba, Sekgetlela Phina Ramodike, Nokwanda Mahlangu, and Lunga Murathi. Each of these women has shown incredible resilience and determination, facing personal and financial hardships while continuing to pursue education and community-focused goals.

Hot Cares and SEESA are delighted to have cleared their student debts, giving them the opportunity to focus on their futures. These women are not just improving their own lives but are committed to giving back to their communities through their careers in public service, mental health, and law. To further support them, each recipient also received a clothing voucher to help them feel confident as they step into their next chapter.
