Hot Cares Steps in to Give Abused Dog OB1Kenobi a Second Chance at Life

OB was rescued in 2023 after a lifetime of neglect and abuse. He endured being used as a bait dog in vicious dogfights, had his eye damaged by neighborhood children, and lived with untreated injuries, including a broken leg. To make matters worse, OB was diagnosed with Spirocerca Lupi disease, likely contracted while he was malnourished and scavenging to survive.
Despite this tragic past, OB found a loving foster home, but his challenges are far from over. Now, in the care of Adele Stanley and her family, OB is thriving alongside his canine siblings, Google and Yahoo. However, the costs of his specialized medical care, including scans, medication, and a strict diet, are overwhelming for Adele, especially since his pet insurance won’t cover his treatments until next year.
