Hot Cares supports Johannesburg Wildlife Hospital with essential equipment to aid wildlife rehabilitation

At Hot Cares, we’re thrilled to support the Johannesburg Wildlife Veterinary Hospital (JWVH) in their tireless mission to care for South Africa’s most vulnerable wildlife. JWVH is the only dedicated wildlife veterinary hospital and rehabilitation center in Johannesburg, offering specialized treatment for injured and sick indigenous animals like pangolins, birds, and more.

This hospital operates with a small, devoted team who go above and beyond to protect and rehabilitate wildlife, often requiring unique resources. One of their pressing needs is an industrial-sized washing machine to maintain the high hygiene standards necessary for their patients and staff. Wildlife care comes with significant demands, from extensive laundry to specialized feeding and vet care, which strains their resources daily.

That’s why Hot Cares is funding an industrial washing machine worth R22,000 for JWVH. This machine will allow them to manage their workload more efficiently, ensuring their team can focus on providing compassionate, lifesaving care to animals who need it most.

At Hot Cares, our mission is to make a lasting impact, empowering people and organizations that uplift our communities and environment. By supporting JWVH, we’re reinforcing our commitment to conservation and ethical care, helping this essential facility continue its incredible work for years to come.
