HOT Cares and Lifestyle College Offer Up Life-Changing Bursary
Hot Cares really does have some amazing partners and Lifestyle College are a great example of this.
They identified Hot Cares as the perfect vehicle for an opportunity they are providing for someone who loves gardening.
As a result, Hot Cares and Lifestyle College have come together to offer one lucky recipient an incredible bursary for a Landscape Design course, valued at an amazing R83 000! This covers tuition and course material.
It’s a 12-month full-time programme that runs from 3 April this year to April of 2024, with induction day on Friday 31 March.
This course has been running for over 25 years and offers in-depth knowledge of the landscape industry. It includes lectures, workshops, practicals and outings, and covers approximately 30 different subjects, enabling the student upon completion to: start their own landscaping business, including design and implementation; work for a landscaping business; or start a consultancy design business.
The course also teaches AutoCAD and provides a year’s free licence to AutoCAD to all its students. Lecturers are fully trained and qualified in their various fields of expertise.
The minimum requirement for entrants is a Matric, Grade 12 or higher. This is a full-time course suitable for those not in full-time employment. Classes are conducted Monday-Friday from 09h00-16h00 at Lifestyle College in Randpark Ridge. Candidates will require a laptop with certain specifications.
To enter, entrants must send their contact details and a motivation to info@hotcares.co.za by 24 March 2023. All selected entries will be forwarded to Lifestyle College for the final selection, interview process, and the choice of the winning candidate.
There will also be an announcement of the winner’s name on Joburg’s Hottest Breakfast Show on HOT 102.7FM and on social media. Standard bursary terms and conditions apply.
What an incredible opportunity for someone who loves gardening!
