A R160 000 bursary could change one listener’s life

For the third year in a row, Chartall has partnered with Hot Cares to offer a life-changing bursary, and the results from previous recipients have already shown just how meaningful this support can be. Lives have been redirected, futures rewritten, and dreams that once felt out of reach are now firmly within grasp.

This year, that journey continues.

A full Bachelor of Business Administration bursary, valued at R160 000, is now up for grabs for one deserving listener, opening the door to three years of tertiary study, fully online. The bursary includes tuition, a laptop, access to a digital library, and a first-year starter pack — everything needed to begin building a brighter future.

Leanne Revel, Principal and CEO of Chartall Business College, says the impact of the partnership with Hot Cares has already been deeply rewarding. Reflecting on the previous bursary recipients, she shared that both students have “done exceptionally well,” adding that watching their journey has been incredibly special.

“I’ve seen their confidence grow. It’s really exciting to be part of that journey and opportunity for them,” she said.

For Leanne, this bursary is about far more than a qualification — it’s about equipping someone with practical, workplace-ready skills that can change the course of their life. “She will be equipped to start a job, start her own business if she wants to, and go and change the world,” Leanne added.
