Hot Cares and Chartall Business College offer a life-changing bursary
Hot Cares is proud to open entries for the 2025 Chartall Business College Bursary—a fully funded Bachelor of Business Administration degree valued at R160,000.
This incredible opportunity is being offered to one deserving Hot 102.7FM listener who dreams of a better future through education but lacks the financial means to pursue it. Whether you’re working full-time, looking for a fresh start, or eager to upskill, this bursary could change your life.
The Bachelor of Business Administration degree is fully online, meaning recipients can study from anywhere, at their own pace. It includes tuition for all three years, a laptop, digital library access, and a unique care package from Chartall Business College to help students stay motivated and connected during their journey.
“It’s a phenomenal degree that opens doors in every area of business—from marketing to finance, HR to entrepreneurship,” says Estelle from Chartall. “We’re looking for someone with drive, discipline, and the passion to use this opportunity to transform their life.”
Applicants must have a National Senior Certificate with admission to bachelor’s studies, a valid South African ID, a motivational letter, and a short video explaining why they are the best candidate.
Estelle also stressed the importance of authenticity in applications. “Tell us who you are—your story, your challenges, your dreams.”
We also caught up with last year’s recipient, Phumelelo Xaba, who has already completed her first year of study and says the experience has been nothing short of transformative.
“I now believe I’ll be employed when I graduate,” she shared. “Modules like emotional intelligence helped me grow personally. I’ve learned to deal with rejection and see new possibilities.”
Her advice to this year’s hopefuls:
“Be intentional. It’s not just a competition—this is your education. You’ve got nothing to lose, but everything to gain.”
Entries are now open and will close on Friday, 9 May 2025.
The winner will be announced live on HOT 102.7FM on Thursday, 15 May 2025.
