Silverstar donation helps Cross Connect build brighter futures

In a powerful show of community upliftment, Silverstar has partnered with Hot Cares to support a deeply moving initiative by Cross Connect Community Outreach—an organization dedicated to restoring dignity and purpose to the lives of vulnerable children.

With 26 children already in their care, Cross Connect recently took a bold step forward by acquiring a second house. This new property will serve as a sanctuary for young girls who have faced abuse, neglect, and unimaginable hardship. But while the structure is there, it still needs to be filled with warmth, comfort, and hope.

That’s where Silverstar stepped in—with a generous donation of R25,000 to help furnish the home with urgent essentials like durable bunk beds, desks for study spaces, and fresh bedding to provide every girl with her own safe space. Their contribution will help create an environment where these girls can begin to heal, thrive, and dream again.
